Fira de Barcelona ratifies its collaboration agreement with Graphispack Association

Fira de Barcelona and Graphispack Asociación have renewed their collaboration agreement with the aim of giving continuity to the work of support and promotion to the packaging sector and the graphic industry through the Hispack and Graphispag salons, as well as the synergies generated by both entities.

Since the signing of the first agreement in May 1979 until now, Graphispack Association and the Hispack and Graphispag exhibitions of Fira de Barcelona have maintained a close level of cooperation, which has resulted in the organization of activities within the framework of both events. With the new agreement signed now, which will be valid until 2027, the emphasis is placed on promotion and promotion in the national and international context.

The signature of the renewal of the agreement, which took place on July 16 at Fira de Barcelona, ​​was attended by the general director of Fira de Barcelona, ​​Constantí Serrallonga; the president of Graphispack Association, Jordi Quera; his vice president and president emeritus of Hispack, Javier Riera-Marsá; the director of the Graphispag room, Jordi Magre; the general secretary of the association, Ignasi Cusí; and the director of the Packaging, Printing and Retail Business Unit of Fira de Barcelona, ​​Xavier Pascual, among other representatives of the fair institution.

The general director of Fira de Barcelona has expressed his satisfaction to “renew the commitment of Fira de Barcelona with Graphispack Association, a key ally of the Hispack and Graphispag classrooms when promoting and boosting the packaging and graphic industry businesses, two powerful sectors, creators of synergies and in the process of digital transformation “.

For his part, the president of Graphispack Association, Jordi Quera, said: “We are very proud to renew our collaboration agreement with Fira de Barcelona to continue adding efforts and resources in favor of the growth of two very important productive areas that share the same environment industrial”.

Two reference rooms
Hispack is the reference show for the Spanish packaging industry and one of the first in Europe in its specialty. In its last edition, held in May 2018, it had more than 1,500 companies represented and focused on the role of packaging as an economic engine and a key element for innovation and transformation towards Industry 4.0.

Graphispag, national and European benchmark of the graphic fairs, will hold in March 2019 an edition that will bring together the range of media and printing technologies and finishes with which to create graphic products for all types of economic sectors and show the trends that are defining the transformation of the graphic industry. In its latest edition, in 2017, it gathered more than 350 brands and registered more than 22,000 visits by professionals.

For its part, Graphispack Association is the business entity that for 40 years brings together the main manufacturers and suppliers for the Graphic Industry, Packaging, Packaging, PLV, Bottled and Allied of Spain and that promotes and collaborates actively in the organization of the salons Hispack and Graphispag from Fira de Barcelona.
