Smurfit Kappa Spain | Portugal | Morocco presented in the 17th edition of Hispack its most complete offer of products and services of corrugated cardboard and Bag-In-Box, specially designed for the sectors of food and beverages, chemical, industrial and e-commerce, main focuses of attention of the fair. News that bet on sustainability and innovation to provide an important added value to its customers, respond to the demanding demands of the current consumer and contribute to the improvement of the environment. In its modern stand of 117 m2, the company set up an area dedicated to e-commerce, in which its Spider Web tool stood out. A corner designed so that manufacturers could discover how to analyze in a practical way the stages that can be improved in the entire life cycle of the packaging, from the time the raw material is processed until it reaches the final consumer.

Precisely the e-commerce was the thread of the presentation that José Antonio Llopis, e-commerce Manager of Smurfit Kappa Spain? Portugal? Morocco, offered last May 9, at Hispack 2018. An intervention in which he analyzed the key function of the packaging in its warehouse phase, where the products are handled and prepared for its next stage of transport, until being placed on the shelves and impact on the final consumer, to offer a unique shopping experience that encourages its repetition.

Also in the stand of the company reserved an important place for digital printing, where printed pieces were exposed in Smurfit Kappa’s novel Single Pass solution, able to offer the best printing results on corrugated cardboard: maximum quality, customization, flexibility and reduction of time to market (time-to-market). Alternatives that take the greatest advantage of graphic design and add real value to packaging products, brands and suppliers in the industrial sector.

Not forgetting the latest innovations of its Bag-In-Box division, such as the BIB 700 automatic filling machine, compact and flexible, designed to meet the highest demand of modern industrial production thanks to its high performance and reliability, since offers the lowest oxygen values ​​on the market with its innovative filling valve; or the new range of Pouch-Up® containers, a new packaging concept for wine and other types of liquids that, moreover, satisfies the increasingly stringent environmental requirements.
